I did some scrappin this weekend!

Well, I got to some scrappin this weekend thanks to the MB and SueGiddens, she posted these great cards with different layouts on them so I did a couple of them. You can see more about that here

This one is my DD when she was born, I think this is the final pictures I have of her in the hospital. No Cricut on this one, the primas are from Cafe Prima.

Here is my oldest DS, I brought him to Sears for his 6 year pictures/1st grade pictures because I hate the way the school ones turn out. I used Locker Talk for the "1st grade" and the Gradeschool stack for paper. The border around the picture is a border from Sears.

This is the other pose I choose from the Sears Pictures. No cricut here either. I used the Fall stack for the paper. Just basic, not too fancy, but sometimes that's nice too.

Thanks for looking! Feel free to leave comments and don't forget to sign my guestbook at the bottom if you haven't already!

Never Ending Card

This is my first time posting a video so I hope this works! This is my take on the Never Ending Card. It is my first time making one so I just used simple white cardstock and some old Christmas Stickers I had. Now that I know how to do it, I look forward to making more and jazzing them up a little bit! Thanks for looking! OH, and yes, that is my DD Alyssa sitting in her bumbo in the backround, she just LOVES to sit there with me and watch me scrap!

Tech Support

INSTALLING A HUSBAND

Dear Tech Support,

Last year I upgraded from Boyfriend 5.0 to Husband 1.0 and noticed a distinct slow down in overall system performance, particularly in the flower and jewelry applications, which operated flawlessly under Boyfriend 5.0.

In addition, Husband 1.0 ;uninstalled many other valuable programs, such as
· Romance 9.5 and
· Personal Attention 6.5, and then installed undesirable programs such as

· NBA 5.0,
· NFL 3.0 and
· Golf Clubs 4.1..

Conversation 8.0 no longer runs, and Housecleaning 2.6 simply crashes the system.

· Please note that I have tried running Nagging 5.3 to fix these problems, but to no avail.

What can I do?

Signed,

Desperate.

DEAR DESPERATE,

First, keep in mind,
· Boyfriend 5.0 is an Entertainment Package, while
· Husband 1.0 is an operating system.
Please enter command: ithoughtyoulovedme.html and try to download Tears 6..2 and do not forget to install the Guilt 3.0 update.
· If that application works as designed, Husband 1..0 should then automatically run the applications Jewelry 2..0 and Flowers 3.5

However, remember, overuse of the above application can cause Husband 1.0 to default to Grumpy Silence 2.5, Happy Hour 7.0 or Beer 6.1.
· Please note that Beer 6. 1 is a very bad program that will download the Farting and Snoring Loudly Beta.

Whatever you do, DO NOT under any circumstances install Mother-In-Law 1.0 < FONT> (it runs a virus in the background that will eventually seize control of all your system resources.)

In addition, please do not attempt to reinstall the Boyfriend 5.0-program These are unsupported applications and will crash Husband 1.0.

In summary, Husband 1.0 is a great program, but it does have limited memory and cannot learn new applications quickly. You might consider buying additional software to improve memory and performance. We recommend
· Cooking 3.0 and
· Hot Lingerie 7.7.

Waterfall Card

This is my first attempt to the waterfall card, I had lots of fun making this! I used the directions off of youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3owXJxuVNWY very super easy! she explains everything and the nice thing is you can pause it as needed. The "Happy Halloween" paper is from last years DCWV Fall Stack. The spider and pumpkin stamps I just got today from the dollar spot bins at Target, I don't have any fancy colored pencils or pens so I used my son's good old crayola markers and they worked out great! The brads are also from the dollar spot at Target. When you open the card, there is a stamp inside that just says "Happy Haloween" I didn't take a pic of that, but it sure turned out cute! I can't wait to experement more with all the fun cards people are coming up with!

Cold season is here!

Well, the last 3 nights Alyssa has kept me up pretty much all night crabby and wants to be held, she was running a slight fever yesterday. Grampa was here today to watch her and Devin and he got her to sleep and she's been slepping now for 3 hours, which is well needed for her. Devin was running a temp yesterday too, he's been doing much better. Jade started caughing a few days ago and now today, he's all stuffy and sounds horrible. It's rainy and icky here today which doesn't help with anyone's mood. Shane and I have been feeling fine, just tired from having Alyssa keep us up all night. I got her 6 month pictures done the other day at sears, they turned out OK, this was the day before she was showing that she wasn't feeling well, so I'm guessing she didn't feel well that day either because she was not smiling for anything. I'm hoping to get some scrapping in this weekend.

Alyssa at 5 months

Well, my baby girl is 6 months old already, I've been doing pretty good at keeping up with her scrapbook along with the boys. Here is her 5 month page I just finished up. I've been taking pictures of her every month with that blanket and doll that my grandma made for her. It shows how much she's grown every month compared to the doll.

Devin got his hair cut!

Well, I took Devin to get his 2nd ever hair cut, hoping that it would go a lot better than the first. I went to a different place this time, and they were a lot nicer and more understanding. He did GREAT! he did try to brush her hand away a couple of times, but he did not once cry like the first time, he was so upset he couldn't barley breath by the time we were done.

First Day of 1st Grade!

Here he is in front of his school

Jade and his teacher, Mrs. Daube

On our way!

Well, the day came and went. He was super excited to go see his old friends and meet new friends. We got to go the day before the full first day to meet his teacher and get all his stuff set up at his table. He had a great first day, he wanted me to come in with him which I was able to cause daddy had the day off so he was watching the babies. I got some cute pictures of him walking out to the van and into the school all the way to his classroom. I didn't cry this year, but of course sad to see my baby back in school. We kept Devin busy all day so he wasn't really affected by it, but today might be a different story. It'll take some getting used to for him.

A day of Scrapping

Well yesterday I got an entire day of scrapping in! I actually accomplished quite a bit however, I think I could have gotten more done if I didn't get sucked into Guitar Hero! Anyway, Alyssa wanted to join us, so I set her up in her Bumbo in the middle of the table, she LOVED it!

New Addition to the "Family"

Well, we went to wal-mart today, hubby talked me into getting the Aerosmith Guitar Hero, we went ahead and got the entire thing, new guitar and the game. Now we have 2 guitars so we can battle eachother. It's a lot of fun and very addicting! Hubby and I both beat Guitar Hero III on Easy and Medium now so we are going to take a break from that one and play the Aerosmith one. I haven't really done a lot on the WII fit latley, but I think once winter comes again and it's too cold to take the kids out, I'll get back to it. I hope everyone is having a great Labor Day Weekend!

Just a note

Nothing really new going on over here this last week. Just calming down from our busy week last week. Going to do some visiting today and a little shopping at Sam's Club. I'm hoping to find some neat scrapping stuff while we are there. Jade is getting really excited for school to start. His open house is Tuesday and his first full day will be Wednesday. Alyssa is almost 6 months old now, she loves to squeal and scream, it's cute though. Devin is almost 22 months and learning to talk more and more every day. I will be scrapping all day tomorrow so I should have some new pics of stuff to put up this comming week.

Busy Week!

Well, it's been a busy week, Friday the 22nd was my oldest DS's 6th Brithday, my mom came down on Wednesday to spend some time with us. We had a birthday party for him, and it was rainy and windy out so we ended up having to have it in the house. We all had fun though. Saturday was our first wedding anniversary. We got up early, packed the kids up and headed down to the Twin Cities for a day at the Minnesota Zoo. We had a great time seeing all the different animals they have. We even got a chance to ride the monorail before we left for the day. Sunday we checked out of the hotel pretty early and went out for breakfast, which is something we don't do very often anymore now that we have 3 kids, after breakfast we were on a mission to find a J's because I was not leaving the cities without the new Fall stacks! I did find them both for only 9.99, I also of course got a few other things. then we were on the way to the Como Zoo. That one isn't as big as the Minnesota Zoo, but they have different animals there so we had just as much fun! We were there for about 3 hours or so then started the trip back home. It was a long week, but we had tons of fun. We made it home safe and sound and even before it started getting dark.

My first Explosion box!

Here is my very first Explosion box, it turned out OK, I know where I made the mistakes on it so I will be sure to be more careful next time. Ummm, I don't know what more to write about it. umm, the pics are of my DD. OK, that's all for now, thanks for looking!

My Scrapping Area (Dining Room!)

Here is some pics I took of my little area I get to scrap in, it's also our dining room. I've been trying to keep it to a minimal because of where it is, but it just keeps growing and growing! The first one is the table, I get a corner to keep my stuff on, of course when I scrap, the entire thing is covered! The 2nd one is my "Junk" corner, the 3rd one is the right side of my wired cubes, the top cube holds half of my carts, and my primas, next shelf holds my completed or uncompleted pages, the next one down holds picture albums and a 3 ring binder where I keep all my stickers in proctive covers, makes it easy to flip threw and find what I'm looking for, and the bottom is my cardstock and my stacks. The next picture is the left side of my cubes, the top holds the other half of my carts and ribbon, next cube has little buckets of either ribbon or pens and my storage for brads/eyelets/etc, the next cube is photo boxes with more pictures and the bottom has magizines. Finally the last Picture is another shelf, I got this one from walmart for 10 bucks, the top holds my punches, a basket that I put different things in untill I can get them put away, and my cm pouch thingie, next shelf is my E which fits PERFECT! the next shelf, the orange tin holds all my stickles, the green lunchbox holds my clear stamps and then my cuttlebug, and finally the bottom shelf is just "junk". Thanks for looking! I can't wait to be able to have my own scrap room so I can expand!

Challange Layout

Here is a layout I did for the Chirper Challange, I used Cuttin Up for the font. I still need to add the journaling. I always save that for the last because I never know what to write! I used a little bit of stickles in there too, kinda hard to see from the picture though.

Been a while

well, it's been a while since I've gotten a chance to blog anything. Summer's here so when I'm not working, I've been out with the kids. I've managed to get a few lo's done in the last couple weeks, but I only have 1 picture. My computer crashed about a week ago and I had to have hubby fix that, then right after it was fixed, the power cord went so I had to wait a week for the new one to come in the mail. Anyway, here's my latest lo. Sorry about the Glare, I tried 3 different pictues and this was the best one. I hope everyone has a great weekend! It's suposed to be really nice and warm here!
